The Fin-de-Siècle Museum: be immersed in the dazzling Brussels of the 1900s, from Impressionism to Art Nouveau, from Fine Arts to opera! The collection of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium covers a period extending from the 15th to the 21st centuries.It provides a vast overview of western art, with remarkable ensembles of works of artists from Belgium or from the former Southern Netherlands. Composed mainly of paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints, it also includes, in particular through donations or deposits, items of decorative arts and furniture along with a small number of non-European works.

The Musée Magritte Museum, located in the heart of Brussels, brings together the world's largest collection of the renowned surrealist artist René Magritte: 230 works and archives are displayed. The multidisciplinary space houses paintings, gouaches, drawings, sculptures and painted objects, as well as advertising posters, musical scores, photographs and films. KONINGSPLEIN 3 / PLACE ROYALE 3 - Berlin as the cosmopolitan and mythical artistic hotspot of the twenties experienced an unprecedented transformation. Social, political and technological upheavals revolutionized postwar society and artistic creation. The exhibition Berlin 1912-1932 highlights this key period. With a Belgian view of the German art scene in mind, it pays special attention to an everyday reality that was marked by crisis and utopia, ravage and euphoria, misery and decadence. Known as the ‘Golden ‘twenties’, this gripping era comes alive again through more than 200 major artworks by Otto Dix, Raoul Hausmann, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Kazimir Malevich, Aleksandr Rodchenko, Max Beckmann, George Grosz, Hannah Höch… Discover an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, films and architecture, and experience one of the most fascinating chapters of our history.
